Speaking of fake news, US rulers, government, and their media propagandists keep churning it out. The biggest fake news story of the new year so far is Russian President Putin caused president-elect Donald Trump to win. This story shows the contempt rulers have for the American people. Rulers believe the American people are so stupid that fake news which is actually real news - they produce the fake news - decided the election. They won’t admit the people rejected their terrible candidate. My dog could have crushed corrupt warmonger Hillary Clinton.

They also believe blaming Putin will benefit them, but all it does is expose them as selfish, petty, and foolish to more Americans.

As of this writing, we’re told the entire intelligence community agrees Putin influenced the US election, but that’s more fiction. In reality, the FBI and other agencies didn’t agree until they were pressured to. In mid-December Reuters reported, “The overseers of the U.S. intelligence community have not embraced a CIA assessment that Russian cyber attacks were aimed at helping Republican President-elect Donald Trump win the 2016 election, three American officials said on Monday.”

Reuters then tried to downplay the disagreement. “While the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) does not dispute the CIA's analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment because of a lack of conclusive evidence that Moscow intended to boost Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, said the officials, who declined to be named,” it continued.

Rulers couldn’t allow this public dissention, so they forced all parties to appear to subsequently publicly agree.

To that end the Director of National Intelligence issued a report blaming the Russians. There was only one problem: it offered no evidence the Russians were the source of the leaks of her campaign manager John Podesta’s emails or anything else that damaged Clinton. The report is designed to bolster more fake news.

US News and World Report explained the true story behind this charade. “In a typical year, Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign would go down as one of the most startlingly deficient endeavors in political history,” it wrote. “But a postliminary campaign by Clinton allies to shape why the heavily favored and first major party female nominee lost to an eccentric billionaire reality television star is already bending the storyline in their favor through a concerted media offensive meant to undermine the president-elect, his tactics and the ultimate outcome.”

As to the real source of the leaks, one Wikileaks operative, a former British ambassador, admitted he received leaked Podesta emails from a Washington insider. Note Clinton’s emails weren’t leaked.

This media campaign is designed to cover up the schism in the US deep state as well as delegitimize Trump. Some in the intelligence community support the globalist, perpetual war agenda represented by Clinton. Some support the America-first agenda represented by Trump. Most in the media, excluding US News and World Report, are in bed with the former, but the civil war continues.

I can’t help but laugh at the irony. Evil Putin is accused of telling the truth, not lying, but truth is treason in the empire of lies. Foreigner Putin is accused of doing work Americans, at least reporters, won’t do. Nobody disputes the leaked emails are real. Nobody disputes Clinton ran a private email server as Secretary of State and stored classified information on it, leaving it vulnerable to hackers. This Alinskyesque media campaign crucifies a phony messenger; it doesn’t refute the message.

Furthermore, recent investigations discovered massive electoral fraud by the Democrats, not Trump. The Detroit News reported, “Michigan’s largest county voted overwhelmingly for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, but officials couldn’t reconcile vote totals for 610 of 1,680 precincts during a countywide canvass of vote results late last month. Most of those are in heavily Democratic Detroit, where the number of ballots in precinct poll books did not match those of voting machine printout reports in 59 percent of precincts, 392 of 662.”

You know this happens in every big city. It’s long been standard operating procedure for Democrats.

Leaked emails and the list of foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation prove foreigners influenced the election on her behalf, not Trump’s. Infowars exposes, “A Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, bragged about the Saudis funding 20% of Clinton’s presidential campaign earlier this year.” And, “The Communist Chinese have put massive amounts of money into the pockets of Clinton via U.S. subsidiaries.”

Democracy is a sham.

With a doubt, the easiest prediction to make about 2015 is the US will continue its failed policy of perpetual war.

Recently, the press made a big deal about the US ending the war in Afghanistan. CBS News wrote: “The US Formally Ends the War in Afghanistan”. Hooray for President Obama. He’s earning his laughable Nobel Peace Prize. This sounds like a reason to celebrate. Except it’s not true. Even the propagandists at CBS were forced to admit: “The symbolic ceremony marked the end of the U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force, which will transition to a supporting role with 13,500 soldiers, most of them American, starting Jan. 1.” The ceremony was symbolic in contrast to being real. Those 13,500 troops will continue combat.

Obama and his war profiteer allies never intended to end the war. In early December, lame duck Secretary of Defense Hagel announced the US would keep 1,000 more troops in Afghanistan than previously planned to continue the war. The Concord Monitor reports, “[Afghan President] Ghani said Afghanistan is determined to ensure that the Taliban is not able to reverse the security gains of recent years. ‘What we strive for is normalcy,’ he said.” I’m pretty sure former Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki said the same thing a few years ago. I wonder if he’s still alive.

It wasn’t too long ago all US troops were committed to leaving Afghanistan by the end of 2014. But Obama didn’t want to end the war, so he negotiated an extension. MSNBC reported in May, “The U.S. intends to keep nearly 10,000 American troops in Afghanistan after it formally ends the war later this year, Obama said. After that, the U.S. will continue an ‘advisory’ role in aiding the Afghan government, ending almost 13 years of war in the region.” “Nearly 10,000” turned into 13,500. Obama’s lies make bold headlines, and then he quietly increases the number of targets to be killed.

But the warmonger-in-chief isn’t satisfied with killing Americans and foreigners in Afghanistan. He wants to fight a third major war in Iraq. Every step he takes escalates the war as he builds support for it with reluctant Americans. While headlines proclaim Obama won’t put boots on the ground, it seems every week he quietly sends more troops to Iraq. Those US soldiers fighting and dying in Iraq know their boots are on the ground.

In November, Obama sent an additional 1,500 troops to Iraq, doubling their number. But that’s not enough. Secretary of State Kerry, who infamously voted for the last Iraq war before he voted against it, has requested funding for more troops from Congress. Our rulers intend to kill more Americans in Iraq making things worse, as if they haven’t killed enough and made things bad enough already. We can only wish for the good ol’, relatively peaceful rule of Saddam Hussein.

Obama is using the Vietnam playbook. He calls all these troops advisers. Anybody old enough to remember the Vietnam War will understand this lie. For those who haven’t learned about it - government schools won’t teach it - ask your parents. Better yet, ask a vet.

But perpetual war in the Middle East is old news. New wars are more exciting, and Obama delivers. He and his banker allies are instigating a new war against Russia on the Black Sea.

President Bush the Elder promised Mikhail Gorbachev the US would never extend NATO toward Russia. Consummate liar that he is, like all presidents are, he probably said it with a straight face. I bet he and the successive presidents have a great belly laugh together when they talk about it.

In the grand tradition of Democrat warmongers like Wilson, Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, and Clinton - all Democrat presidents since 1900 - Obama plans to send 150 US tanks to Russia’s border. The Straits Times reports, “The move is part of a US effort dubbed Operation Atlantic Resolve in the Baltic states and Poland to reassure allies anxious about a resurgent Russia, with American troops deploying for several months at a time to conduct joint exercises.”

The second stupidest place to fight a war after Afghanistan is the Balkans. Not satisfied with losing one war in the graveyard of empires, Obama wants to lose a second war in the next worst graveyard of empires.

And the US-backed fascist, puppet regime in Ukraine, installed by a US and European Union coup, stokes the flames while committing genocide against ethnic Russians and forcing Jews to flee. The British Broadcasting Corporation reports, “Ukraine's parliament has voted to drop the country's non-aligned status and work towards NATO membership.” Russia’s Foreign Minister called the vote counterproductive. That’s an understatement.

But the latest news says Obama secretly communicated to Russian President Putin, as he did with the Iranians to great success, I mean no avail. Putin is as susceptible to Obama’s purported charm as the oceans Obama promised to stop from rising.

But don’t despair if this isn’t enough war. Obama could invade Venezuela next.

Ukraine illustrates upside-down world

Sixty years ago, the Soviet Union was instigating coups and starting civil wars all around the globe to spread communism. The U.S. fought against communist aggression in Korea, Vietnam and South America. Today, we live in an upside-down world. In the last decade or so, the U.S. has instigated coups and civil wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Libya and Syria to propagate U.S. bankster socialism. That’s why the Libyan rebels set up a central bank in Benghazi before the civil war had begun in earnest. As a result, all of these countries are powder kegs now. The only reason U.S. troops aren’t publicly fighting and dying in Syria – special forces are doing so secretly – is Russian President Vladimir Putin saved their lives by brokering a deal to remove Syria’s chemical weapons.
Now, the U.S. has added Ukraine and Venezuela to the list of countries in which our rulers are instigating coups. As usual, the U.S. press, calling the coup a democracy movement, has the story upside-down. The president, who was ousted by U.S.-backed mobs, was democratically elected. Any doubt about who was behind the coup was erased when a recording of a U.S. official saying, “F**k the EU” on an unsecured phone was leaked. Economic Policy Journal reported, “In the call, which was anonymously posted on YouTube, Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt lay out their desired outcome for the crisis in Ukraine and accuse the European Union of not doing enough.”
While this story reached prominence in the U.S. in February, during the Putin-bashing Olympics, Storyleak reported in December, “What is particularly surprising about the current color revolution unfolding in the Ukraine is this nation was the site of the very same CIA implementation plan back in 2004/2005. The Orange Revolution, as it was known at the time, was a classic CIA-engineered plot to impose their political outcome on the Ukrainian people. And they succeeded with flying colors. That CIA-sponsored coup d’état was so successful, it has since been used as a model for every other CIA-manufactured scheme that has toppled governments and reversed fair election outcomes the world over. In fact, the Ukraine is where the various social network utilities were used so effectively, the new M.O. has become known as the ‘digital blitzkrieg.’ Never in human history have so many citizens been stampeded in the direction of overthrowing their government while being completely ignorant of the real forces manipulating the cattle prods.”
This coup attempt by a small, organized, violent mob was successful, too. Not wasting any time, Kiev’s victorious mobsters immediately shook down the EU for a €5 billion payoff. Now, Ukraine is divided between its European west and its Russian east. Russian troops have seized control of the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea. If U.S. aggressors really thought they could bluff Putin into sitting idle while they took control of Ukraine, they were mistaken.
A similar situation is playing out in Venezuela, with one difference being Venezuela is an economic basket case because of nearly two decades of socialism. Antiwar.com explained what happened in Venezuela: “In Venezuela, opponents of the Bolivarian Revolution hoped to win in the polls in a way they had repeatedly failed to do while Chavez was alive. But Chavez’ successor, Nicolás Maduro, handed them yet another defeat, and the revolution continued. Despite monitors from around the world certifying the election as fair, the United States continued to defy every other country in the world by refusing to recognize Maduro’s victory and backing the opposition’s claims of fraud and their demands for further recounts.”
The modus operandi seems to be, if the U.S.-backed party can’t win in a fair election, initiate a coup by mob in the streets. So much for U.S. claims to support democracy.
While these coups might seem like isolated incidents, many see a pattern of the U.S. picking fights with Russia. Russia has a navy base in Syria, historical ties to Ukraine and is currently negotiating for military support with Venezuela. Provoking the only other nuclear superpower in the world seems outrageously dangerous. Justin Raimondo believes current geopolitical tensions parallel the situation before World War I: “Add to [Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela] the ongoing turmoil in Iraq and the complete collapse of the Afghan front (aided by the antics of Afghan President Hamid Karzai), and the world situation begins to greatly resemble that which occasioned the outbreak of World War I – the ‘Great War’…”
The question is: Why would U.S. rulers want to provoke Russia? The answer is: They need a scapegoat for the coming economic collapse. They can’t allow the people to realize central banking itself – counterfeiting fantastic amounts of funny money – is the cause of the impending collapse. They have to blame the collapse on something else. War, Russia and Putin make great scapegoats. March 3 headlines blamed Ukraine for a global economic crisis and for the worst U.S. stock day since January, but don’t let our rulers fool you. Putin isn’t stealing our money and destroying our country. They are.
