Predictable Injustice in Beavercreek

Before assigning blame for the shooting of John Crawford in Beavercreek Walmart, we must acknowledge the fundamental fact of the situation: Crawford didn’t threaten anybody. Not shoppers. Not police. He had neither the ability nor the inclination. He was carrying a toy rifle in one hand while talking on a phone in the other when Beavercreek police shot him dead. The failure of this non-threatening man to drop his toy gun as illegally ordered cannot justify murdering him.
How government enforcers killed Crawford and covered it up from the beginning illustrates why it’s more accurate to call our justice system an injustice system.
It started with a man calling 911. I watched the Walmart surveillance video synced with the 911 call, and the discrepancies between what the caller reports, what the police reported, and what’s seen on the video are outrageous. The caller states Crawford is waving a rifle around, loading it, and pointing it at people including children. None of that happened. The only people near Crawford, a mother with two children shopping near Crawford seemed unconcerned, and Crawford ignored them. It’s also striking the caller, although shopping with his disabled wife, never seemed threatened. He calmly watched Crawford while setting him up to be killed.
The video showed no problem whatsoever until police, from off-camera, shot Crawford out of the blue. Crawford threatened nobody. After shooting Crawford, cops incited a panic, stampeding everybody out of the store even though Crawford had been neutralized, apparently killing Angela Williams as a result. This began the cover-up.
Ohio Attorney General DeWine continued the cover-up by withholding this video from the public. Had the video benefitted government’s killer, DeWine would have published it far and wide. It would have run on TV every day.
We can only speculate about the grand jury because grand juries are secret to protect the government, but there’s a common saying that prosecutors can indict a ham sandwich. That illustrates the tremendous, manipulative power prosecutors have over grand juries based on what evidence they present, what they don’t, and how they present it. Maybe a new saying should explain prosecutors can prevent murderers from being indicted too.
The Beavercreek Police Department even admitted wrong-doing, but they won’t see it that way. The Dayton Daily News reports their press release stated in part, “Based on the information the responding officers had and Mr. Crawford's failure to comply with the responding officers orders, the officers did what they were trained to do to protect the public.” It’s universally illegitimate to use training or orders as an active defense for murder or any aggression. It was illegitimate when the Nazis tried it at Nuremberg. It’s illegitimate now.
It’s also terrifying that Beavercreek trains officers to kill non-threatening people carrying toy guns.
Imagine if you had killed Crawford in the same circumstance. Imagine your wife, shopping at Walmart with your child, called to say a man was carrying a rifle and pointing it at people. Being a good husband, you would have told her to get out of Walmart ASAP then gone there to ensure she got away. But imagine she didn’t leave, so you confronted Crawford while he talked on the phone and carried a toy gun, and shot him dead. Whether you had told him to drop his gun or not, you’d be on your way to prison, and rightfully so. Police, who are trained with firearms and have a license to kill, should be held to at least the same standard as civilians.
But laws are for serfs, not rulers or their enforcers.
Many have claimed race motivated this shooting. Baloney. That distraction from the root problem of coercive policing benefits the killers. These cops would have shot anybody in this situation regardless of race, gender or age. Cops are equal opportunity killers, trigger-happy, because they get rewarded for killing. The killer is immediately rewarded with praise from peers and a paid vacation, called a suspension, but a rose is still a rose by any other name. Eventually, the killer gets promotions and pay raises for his cowardly act. Firing, let alone prosecution, is unheard of.
Rulers grant enforcers a license to kill and demand serfs die without resistance. This has nothing to do with race. It’s the inevitable product of coercive government, funded by armed robbery and enforced by threatening all the people with guns, all the time.
The biggest part of cover-ups is usually lack of investigation, in this case of the 911 caller. Why did he call 911 when nobody else seemed concerned? Was he just obeying government’s abominable, divisive and deadly “see something, say something” promotion? Why did he say Crawford was pointing the rifle at people when that wasn’t true? If he thought Crawford was a threat, why didn’t he and his wife leave the store? Why didn’t 911 operators advise him to leave the store and notify Walmart security to evacuate the store? Why didn’t cops verify the caller’s claims before shooting? His misinformation cannot justify murder.
The families of the victims got no justice here. I hope they find it elsewhere.

Weird Science

You might remember back in March when newspapers around the world trumpeted the claim that scientists had proven the Big Bang and cosmic inflation theory. The supposed scientific journal Nature proclaimed, “Using a radio telescope at the South Pole, the US-led team has detected the first evidence of primordial gravitational waves, ripples in space that inflation generated 13.8 billion years ago when the Universe first started to expand.” Case closed. According to Nature, there was no doubt what was discovered and what it proved. The high priest of the theory of cosmic inflation, Dr. Alan Guth, cried when told his theory had been proved.
But the researchers were wrong.
The researchers recently announced their error. Quanta Magazine reports, “Now, scientists have shown that the swirl pattern touted as evidence of primordial gravitational waves — ripples in space and time dating to the universe’s explosive birth — could instead all come from magnetically aligned dust. A new analysis of data from the Planck space telescope has concluded that the tiny silicate and carbonate particles spewed into interstellar space by dying stars could account for as much as 100 percent of the signal detected by the BICEP2 telescope and announced to great fanfare this spring.” So much for magical cosmic inflation.
This is how pseudo-science is done in our anti-science society. Researchers get grants of many millions of dollars stolen from taxpayers to fund their ridiculous experiments. They go through the motions to make it look like they’re doing science. They produce fantastic results then proclaim those results prove magic exists and publish them to great fanfare. Then they get giant government paychecks and live fat and happy off taxpayers for the rest of their lives. Eventually, quietly, they get proven wrong, but nobody notices and nothing changes. They continue to live fat and happy on the taxpayer gravytrain. The scientific method never enters into the process. Government’s monopoly on funding has turned science into a travesty.
The cosmic inflation researchers are guilty of confirmation bias at best and fraud at worst. This experiment never had a chance of proving the Big Bang, cosmic inflation, or gravity waves because none of those things exist. As Electric Universe advocate Stephen Smith wrote when the results became public, “Gravity wave detection is yet another step farther down the rabbit hole of modern science. Starting with the Big Bang, redshift, the ‘fabric’ of space/time, inflation, the CMB [Cosmic Microwave Background], and now gravity waves, science has resorted to ever more arcane postulates that conflate fantastical ideas into a hopelessly confusing morass of mathematical legerdemain.”
But being a government-funded pseudo-scientist means never having to admit your theory is wrong. A recent paper claims astronomers were surprised to discover a super-duper-sized black hole in a tiny galaxy. They’re surprised because their theory is wrong. Black holes don’t exist. Another paper claims astronomers discovered a red giant star that swallowed a neutron star, but they’re wrong because neutron stars don’t exist. Astronomers can’t explain what they believe is a deficit of lithium in the universe created by the Big Bang because the Big Bang never happened.
Astronomers are wrong about all these observations because they refuse to admit the power of electricity, which powers stars and galaxies, in space. The electric force dwarfs gravity, but the gravity-centric theory of the universe has been around for well over a century, and the scientists at the top of the government gravytrain are invested in it, so they desperately hold on to their obsolete theories despite evidence for powerful magnetic fields that can only be produced by equally powerful electric currents. That’s why the cosmic inflation team failed to take into account magnetically aligned dust.
The same is true with solar science. A recent paper claimed to have verified the sun was powered by thermonuclear fusion. “An international team of researchers using a detector buried deep below the mountains of central Italy has detected neutrinos—ghostly particles that interact only very reluctantly with matter—streaming from the heart of the sun,” Sciencemag.org reported. “Other solar neutrinos have been detected before, but these particular ones come from the key proton-proton fusion reaction that is the first part of a chain of reactions that provides 99% of the sun’s power.”
This is another example of faulty confirmation bias presented as fact. The thermonuclear model of the sun was also created before magnetic fields were discovered in space, and it has failed to predict anything about the sun correctly. For example, the sun is cooler inside, where all the hydrogen bombs are supposedly exploding, than at the surface. Every new observation requires scientists to add silly complications to their theory in much the same way supporters of the ancient Ptolemaic theory of the solar system were forced to add epicycles when each new body was discovered. Ironically, most of those silly add-ons involve magnetic fields, but government-funded theorists won’t admit they’re caused by electric currents.
The Rosetta lander mission to comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko will produce the next big surprises for establishment researchers, if it doesn’t fail completely, because comet theory is wrong too.

Obama Gets His War

Great Pharaoh, who, in his role as god on earth, was going to reverse the centuries-long rise of the oceans, finally got his divine war in Syria. Just last year President Obama announced he was going to bomb Syria back to the stone age to help rebels oust Syrian President Assad. This was in response to a chemical weapons attack attributed to Assad but which turned out to be a false flag attack carried out by the rebels. War-weary Americans overwhelmingly rose up and overruled Obama. Russian President Putin rescued Obama with a plan for Assad to surrender his chemical weapons to be destroyed, which he did.
But our petulant president wasn’t satisfied. He wanted to attack Syria, and he needed to convince the pesky people to support his war. At that time nobody had heard of ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria). A search of Google News turns up only one mention of ISIS or ISIL (substitute Levant for Syria) in 2013. Now a day doesn’t go by without government’s propagandists crying hysterically that ISIS is the greatest threat the US has ever faced.
That’s not a coincidence. ISIS roared into prominence because the US and its regional allies funded, armed and trained ISIS fighters to be the highly successful terrorists they are today so they could defeat Assad. ISIS isn’t an enemy of the US. It’s a tool of the US. Obama is using ISIS; ISIS is using Obama; and everybody is suffering as a result.
The US camouflaged its arming of ISIS by supplying, arming and training supposedly moderate rebels. The problem is there are no moderate rebels. The personnel in the rebel militias are fluid. Moderate groups funnel weapons to fierce militias like ISIS. At the same time, ISIS fighters pretend to be moderates to obtain training and weapons. It’s a charade designed to fool the American people, and all parties understand it.
A month ago Obama himself said there were no real moderate rebels. “With ‘respect to Syria,’ said the president, the notion that arming the rebels would have made a difference has ‘always been a fantasy,’” The New York Times reported. “‘This idea that we could provide some light arms or even more sophisticated arms to what was essentially an opposition made up of former doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth, and that they were going to be able to battle not only a well-armed state but also a well-armed state backed by Russia, backed by Iran, a battle-hardened Hezbollah, that was never in the cards.’”
Yet today Obama claims he will defeat both ISIS and Assad by arming those same doctors, farmers and pharmacists to be the boots on the ground supported by US bombs. Pat Buchanan comments, “The strategy that President Obama laid out Wednesday night to ‘degrade and ultimately destroy the terrorist group known as ISIL,’ is incoherent, inconsistent and, ultimately, non-credible.” No kidding. Nobody, not even Arab countries threatened by ISIS, will send their troops to fight. That’s because Obama’s strategy is a sham.
The key to understanding this is understanding Iran is the ultimate target. Obama doesn’t want to destroy ISIS. He wants to help ISIS topple Assad because toppling Assad will further isolate Iran.
Obama admitted he already used ISIS to oust Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki, who was tightly aligned with Iran. The Times reported, “The reason, the president added, ‘that we did not just start taking a bunch of airstrikes all across Iraq as soon as ISIL came in was because that would have taken the pressure off of [Prime Minister Nuri Kamal] al-Maliki.’” This also explains reports that Iraqi troops were mysteriously ordered to retreat instead of fighting ISIS when ISIS first invaded Iraq.
But the advance of ISIS in Iraq still didn’t convince the American people to support Obama’s newest war. He needed more propaganda, so he sent Secretary of Defense Hagel to fearmonger. Reuters reported, “Asked if the hardline Sunni Muslim organization posed a threat to the United States comparable to that of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Hagel said it was ‘as sophisticated and well-funded as any group we have seen.’”
Considering al Qaeda had about 500 fighters in 2001, and ISIS currently has over 20,000, this is a stark admission of the failure of the US policy of perpetual war to make us safer. Clearly, Hagel is saying it has made us less safe. ISIS helped Hagel by shortening its name to Islamic State to make it appear they threatened the US.
But Hagel’s claims still didn’t convince the American people. It took two videos of Americans being beheaded to finally push Americans over the edge and give Obama the support he needed. What went largely unreported was the claim by the family of Steven Sotloff that Obama’s moderate Syrian rebel buddies, who recently signed a non-aggression pact with ISIS, sold him to ISIS and the beheading videos were faked.
Obama’s propaganda campaign worked. It got him his latest war. Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

Hilarity in Huber Heights

A recent Dayton Daily News headline read, “Huber expected to OK $1.25 million in music center upgrades”. Of course they were. The boondoggle isn’t even built yet, and Huber Heights’s rulers are already upgrading it. But this was a fait accompli. The history suggests Huber’s rulers met with Music and Event Management, Inc. executives, the boondoggle’s eventual manager, smoked $100 cigars and drank 90-year-old scotch purchased with taxpayers’ money, and agreed to use this music venue boondoggle to soak the taxpayers of Huber Heights for every penny they could loot from them before proposing the project.
The article’s sub-head reads, “Supporters say additional work will pay for itself”. Of course they do. They always say that. They said the same thing about their aquatic center boondoggle. The DDN tells how that is working out, “Attendance at the Kroger Aquatic Center at The Heights has dipped again for the second year in a row...” It also reports, “In 2013, the aquatic center — 8625 Brandt Pike — had a net loss of $35,159 and drew 29,282 people with 201 season passes.” So it lost money two years in a row, two out of three it’s been in existence. Rulers blame the weather without mentioning the inherent inability of socialists to perform economic calculation and therefore to effectively manage any project. Taxpayers are the gift Huber’s rulers force to keep on giving.
Sure, this summer was cool, as was last summer. If an investor lost his own money on a pool project because he didn’t do his homework to determine the Earth was entering a cool climate cycle, nobody else would get hurt. But since rulers steal money from taxpayers in the form of taxes, every taxpayer in Huber Heights is getting hurt by this pool boondoggle and now the music boondoggle.
After reviewing how Huber’s rulers hoodwinked taxpayers into paying for this boondoggle, the evidence it was a scam from the beginning is overwhelming. First, the rulers misled taxpayers about the cost. On Dec. 7, 2012 the DDN reported, “A $10 million music center has been proposed to anchor the $220 million Heights development here, and construction could start as early as next year, city officials said.” Three days later the DDN reported the price mysteriously nearly doubled to $18 million. It’s not credible Huber’s rulers learned the real price immediately after publicizing a grossly wrong one.
At the same time they compared it to Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. They allocated $100,000 to a management company to determine feasibility which turned out to be the same company that ran Riverbend and now manages Huber’s boondoggle. That’s a shameless conflict of interest. You’d have to be hopelessly naive not to realize this deal was pre-determined before anything was reported. Every meeting, every so-called debate on this boondoggle, has been a sham.
On March 5, 2013, the DDN reported Goodsports Enterprises would build a hotel and sports complex next to the boondoggle. Rulers led Huber’s taxpayers to believe the boondoggle was already producing benefits. That turned out to be phony too. The reality is rulers secretly paid for Goodsports to be part of their boondoggle, but Goodsports never committed to show up. The DDN reports, “Huber Heights officials are investigating why the city spent nearly $300,000 to prepare a building pad for GoodSports Enterprises’ $22 million fieldhouse/hotel — when the development agreement did not require it.” So the same rulers who made and paid for the deal are supposedly investigating themselves to discover why they did it. This scam is so transparent, they should be embarrassed. Meanwhile, Goodsports is a no-show. I apologize to Huber‘s taxpayers who are being robbed, but I can’t help but laugh.
The subsequent “scandal” regarding the “proposed” $1.25 million VIP upgrades makes me laugh out loud. While pretending they hadn’t yet decided to fund the upgrades, Huber’s rulers were already secretly paying for them. The DDN reports, “The two change orders totaling $323,751 impacting the two main concession stands and the VIP concession stand were approved in May and June of this year.” City council subsequently, unanimously approved the additional spending. Big surprise. The outrage and debate exhibited over discovering those payments was another scam. This boondoggle was going to cost $19.25 million, that we know of, all along.
Huber’s rulers have Romanesque delusions of grandeur. In a region where extravagant looting by local rulers is the norm, Huber Heights stands out, and there are negative consequences. The DDN reports, “Huber Heights officials are in the early stages of looking to revitalize the center of town that city leaders say points to a commitment to the entire community and not just the growth north of Interstate 70.” Baloney. This shows Huber’s rulers have looted Huber Heights into decline to enrich themselves and their cronies, and they plan to continue, using the town’s center next. Nobody can loot others into prosperity.
I compliment the DDN on dozens of articles conveying Huber’s rulers’ perspective. Unfortunately, it hasn’t reported any other perspective, let alone the full story.

Government Does Not Work Us

Arguably the most successful lie rulers have brainwashed the people into believing is government works for us. People frequently say we have to remind government agents they work for us. They say we pay their salaries. Police cars proclaim “To Protect and Serve”.
But this is demonstrably false. The only way one can work for another is if he does so voluntarily. Taxes aren’t voluntary. The government extracts them from us at the point of its gun. If you don’t pay, armed men storm your house, shoot your dog, and stick guns in your face and in the faces of everybody you live with. If you survive the assault, they’ll lock you in a cage and steal your money in an inherently corrupt, socialist court run by the same brigands stealing your money.
Our rulers no more work for us than slave-masters worked for slaves. Your civics teacher lied.
Police don’t protect and serve us. They protect and serve our rulers. For example, if you want to peacefully buy raw milk, the police won’t protect you while you do so. They will attack you for doing so because our rulers might lose a couple dollars if you buy healthy, raw milk from a local farmer instead of buying dead, industrial milk, shipped halfway across the country, from a giant food corporation.
Some people claim we are a nation of laws, ruled by the rule of law, so cops have to attack people for performing peaceful but illegal activities. This is false too. The rule of law means the law applies equally to everybody. This has never been true in the US. It can never be true when government enforcers are allowed to commit crimes like stealing money assaulting peaceful people. Government corrupted law to legalize its acts of aggression. Like all socialist systems, the US has a two-tiered set of laws, one for serfs and one for rulers. For example, if a mom with a gun permit from Pennsylvania carries her weapon into New Jersey, she is aggressively prosecuted. Enforcers who do the same are not.
As one former cop admits in an email, police are first and foremost uniformed tax collectors. “The amount of officers dedicated strictly to revenue generating would shock most people. Most of my reports were after the crime was committed that went nowhere,” he wrote. “I would laugh when people would ask if we were looking for their car, property, missing loved one or the person that just assaulted or robbed them. We had no time to do these investigations and was as you stated simply for insurance purposes. [sic] Only high crimes such as serious assault, murder and rape are investigated by the detective bureau or prosecuted by a district attorney.”
The second priority of enforcers is to protect rulers from the people. That’s why the NSA and police forces spy on every American. That’s why there’s surveillance cameras on every corner except where our rulers live. That’s why police violently shut down protests.
The third function of enforcers is to provide the illusion of legitimacy for government. That’s why they capture and convict somebody, whether it’s the right person or not, whenever a serious crime is committed, but they laugh when you ask them to recover your stolen goods.
One of the easiest ways for police to generate revenue is to troll for young black men under the guise of fighting crime, shake them down, then charge them with selling drugs. Whether the charge is true or not doesn’t matter because it’s easy to convince a white jury, as nearly all are, to convict young black men. This is why cops charge black men with drug crimes at outrageously higher rates than whites even though blacks and whites do drugs at about the same rate. If cops trolled for young white men, there’d be an uproar. When they troll for young black men, they’re congratulated for fighting crime, and their budgets increase. The systematic aggression of the war on drugs, along with socialist education, minimum wage aggression, and interventionist economic policies, is perfect for oppressing and persecuting blacks.
Ubiquitous police aggression is the context for the killing of a young, unarmed black man in Ferguson, Missouri, the killing of a young black man carrying a toy gun in Walmart in Beavercreek, and the killing of all young, unarmed black men by cops. But the legalized, systematic aggression of cops against all serfs, regardless of race, is the root problem. The racial aspect is a symptom. Cops exhibit the rapist’s mentality: submit to their aggression or die, and the most successful are rewarded with promotions.
The biggest mistake blacks have made in resisting police brutality is mistaking race as the primary factor. It alienates the majority of the population and ignores the root problem. But it makes race agitators like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson rich, so it continues.
Cops legally kill over 400 Americans a year. Only 96 are blacks killed by white officers. To stop the carnage, we must recognize the root cause is the systematic aggression inherent in socialist policing.

The War to Produce Heroin

For 100 years, the government has been waging a war on drugs. President Nixon escalated the war and popularized the term in 1971. Stormtroopers have been kicking in doors, shooting grandmas, sticking guns in the faces of children, throwing bombs into babies’ cribs and shooting dogs ever since, ostensibly to reduce both supply and demand for illegal drugs.
If the government’s goal really was to reduce supply and demand of illegal drugs, there are no words to describe the magnitude of the failure of their stormtrooper approach. Last November, the Montgomery County coroner warned heroin deaths were on the rise. Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine called heroin deaths in Ohio an epidemic despite all the bullets, bombs and jackboots targeted at the American people. DeWine promised to steal another million dollars a year from taxpayers to fund more invasions of grandmothers’ houses by paramilitary police. By January, Dewine had created a new heroin task force to solve the problem, but in March, heroin deaths hit a record high. In April, they were still on the rise.
Apologists always demand we give the government more time, as if 100 or 43 years, take your pick, hasn’t been long enough, but surely Dewine’s task force should have produced results by August. It didn’t. The Dayton Daily News reported in August, “Montgomery County coroners performed autopsies for suspected heroin overdoses on two area residents during the day Friday and were expecting another arrival that night, bringing the heroin death toll for the past week to 18, officials said.”
Granted, that was an exceptional week. Only three people died of heroin overdoses in Montgomery County the next weekend. The coroner called that a “good weekend.” I call it tragic. My heart breaks for the families of the victims.
Government’s stormtrooper approach can never succeed at achieving its proclaimed goal. Prohibition of alcohol failed. Repealing it dramatically reduced crime, violence and deaths. The same will happen when we end prohibition of all drugs.
And our rulers know this. Plutocrats, top politicians, and top bureaucrats aren’t stupid. They know their drug policies are killing Americans. They just don’t care. They profit from the pain caused by prohibition, so they continually ratchet it up.
Of course, they can’t let the American people know that. They always blame somebody else. Media has run a number of articles linking heroin to Mexico recently. For example, USA Today claimed: “Nearly all of the heroin fueling a U.S. resurgence enters the country over the 1,933-mile Mexico border, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.” The implication is clear: it’s the Mexicans’ fault. But this seemingly in-depth article lies by omission. It intentionally fails to inform 92 percent of the world’s opium, from which heroin is made, is produced in Afghanistan, encouraged by US policy.
Before the US invaded Afghanistan, the Taliban had virtually eradicated opium production. Our rulers, after invading Afghanistan, reinstituted it because US rulers benefit from opium and heroin trade. Global Research explains, “The multi-billion dollar laundering of drug profits supports the Western banking system and the world economy. As explained by Michael C. Ruppert in Crossing the Rubicon, ‘the CIA is Wall Street, and drug money is king’. Drug money, in Ruppert’s analysis, is the steroids of the financial world.” Under US rule, Afghanistan reported record opium production in 2013.
Illegal drugs are second only to oil in international trade value, and like oil, they are traded in dollars. Just like selling oil in dollars bolsters the world reserve status of the dollar, so does selling illegal drugs in dollars. Protecting the dollar is the number one priority of US foreign policy from the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria to Ukraine. Protecting the dollar is the reason the US is allied so tightly to Saudi Arabia and other totalitarian oil producers and against Iran.
Our rulers don’t want to stop the drug trade. They’re intentionally driving up prices and profits for illegal drugs so more suppliers produce them, flooding the streets with dangerously concentrated drugs to further reinforce the dollar. And they’ve been wildly successful. So while our rulers in Washington and Wall Street party on billions of ill-gotten drug gains, scores in Dayton and around the country are dying of heroin overdoses or having their doors kicked in by stormtroopers then being caged if they survive.
The war on drugs also highlights the hypocrisy of self-professed limited government conservatives. Government’s power to control what one puts in one’s body and to kick in doors, throw bombs and shoot people to enforce it is irreconcilable with limited government.
Ryan McMaken derides prohibitionists, “These are the same people who ask the ridiculous question: ‘Are you prepared to deal with the consequences of legalized cannabis?’ If by ‘consequences’ they mean fewer non-violent husbands, mothers, fathers, and teens rotting in government cages, then yes, I am prepared to deal with those ‘consequences.’”
It also means greatly reduced crime, violence and deaths. The same applies to all drugs. There was no heroin problem before opium was banned. There will be none after it’s decriminalized.

Governments Are Packed with Perverts

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden recently told The Guardian reporters that NSA agents pass around naked pictures of people they spy on like you. WebProNews provides the full quote:
“The reality of working in the intelligence community is that you see things that are deeply troubling – all the time. And it’s not just one person, it’s many of them.
“You’ve got young enlisted guys, 18 to 22 years old, they’ve suddenly been thrust into a position of extraordinary responsibility where they now have access to all of your private records. Now, in the course of their daily work, they stumble across something that is completely unrelated to their work in any sort of necessary sense.
“For example, an intimate nude photo of someone in a sexually compromising situation but they’re extremely attractive. So what do they do? They turn around in their chair and they show their coworker. And their coworker says ‘oh hey, that’s great – send that to Bill down the way.’
“And then Bill sends it to George, and George sends it to Tom, and sooner or later this person’s whole life has been seen by all of these other people.
“It’s never reported, nobody ever knows about it because the auditing of these systems is incredibly weak. The fact that your private images, records of your private life, records of your intimate moments, have been taken from your private communications from the intended recipient and given to the government without any specific authorization, without any specific need, is itself a violation of your rights.”
Generally being a pro-government propagandist organ, The Guardian calls this claim startling, but there’s nothing startling about it. If we had a dime for every time a politician or bureaucrat is caught using government’s power of coercion for sex, they would have to pay us money instead of stealing ours. It’s not surprising that people who are attracted to using government’s power of coercion over others to advance their personal interests, i.e. everybody in government, do it not only to advance their financial interests but their sexual interests as well. This is the real reason police departments like Dayton’s push so hard for spy cameras in every window and drones in every backyard.
The affinity for prostitutes by US troops and Secret Service agents has been documented to be nearly insatiable, but hiring prostitutes isn’t the problem. The use of coercion by government agents to get their sexual jollies damages their victims.
For example, 30 strippers have filed a lawsuit against San Diego police for abusing their power to license strippers. The Los Angeles Times documents, “The strippers were ‘nearly nude’ when their pictures were taken while officers made ‘arrogant and demeaning remarks’ and intimidated the strippers to keep them from leaving, the lawsuit alleges.”
As bad as this sounds, the response from the police makes it worse. The Times continues “Taking photographs of the employees, including of distinctive tattoos, is a routine part of the inspection process, [police spokesman] Mayer added. Inspections are meant to deter the employees from engaging in illegal acts.
“‘The San Diego code mandates we make these inspections,’ Mayer said. ‘This is not a criminal matter, this is a regulatory matter.’”
The police contend this sexual abuse is legal, and they have a case. It remains to be seen how strong of a case. The Times continues, “[The lawyer for the strippers] said that while the permit process does allow such inspections, police went overboard, detaining the dancers for more than an hour against their will ‘without probable cause’ and making them pose in various positions.”
This highlights the perverted conflicts government creates. In a free society nobody could force these women to pose for photographs against their will. But because the government claims the power of coercion, it legalizes sexual abuse, and the perverted enforcers it hires to carry out the abuse go beyond the law to satisfy their own perverse desires.
The Transportation Security Agency (TSA) is another government bureaucracy that legally sexually assaults victims, and their legalized crimes invite more of the same. CBS reports, “A San Francisco man suspected of having one too many drinks is accused of posing as a Transportation Security Administration agent and groped [sic] two unsuspecting women, both foreigners, in a private booth for security pat downs.”
What’s the difference who employs the molesters or if the victims are foreigners? The women are victims of molestation regardless. The TSA is a haven for molesters because it allows them to get their jollies legally, and this guy just short-circuited the hiring process. This incident shows TSA has nothing to do with security, only oppression. Agents, probably drunk themselves, can’t protect travelers from a guy in their midst, let alone a determined terrorist. TSA agents have never stopped a terrorist attack, and they constantly fail to detect weapons during tests, but they molest travelers with glee.
It’s sad how people promote government power out of fear from sexual assailants and other criminals, but they’re empowering criminals to commit their crimes without consequence as government agents.

Welcome Back to Sunny Iraq

President Obama finally got his wish: he dragged the US back into war in Iraq. Of course that isn’t what the president who promised “if you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it” says. The Associated Press quotes the president, “‘As commander in chief, I will not allow the United States to be dragged into fighting another war in Iraq,’ Obama said.”
But that’s exactly what he did. Every news report goes out of its way to pretend Obama is reluctant to go back to war in Iraq. This is another Big Lie that’s become the common narrative. CNN provides an example, “President Barack Obama's decision to authorize airstrikes escalated American military involvement in Iraq, a country he tried to get out of more than two years ago.”
But Obama didn’t try to get us out of Iraq. In 2011, while he crowed about getting us out of Iraq, he was quietly negotiating to extend the war. Stars and Stripes reported, “Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Friday that Iraq has agreed to negotiate an extension of noncombat U.S. forces there beyond 2011.” While the press characterized the forces the US wanted to leave behind as non-combat trainers, Stars and Stripes highlighted Panetta’s frustration was over not leaving combat troops, “‘We will fulfill the commitment that we are going to take all of the combat forces out of Iraq.’” Iraqis forced US combat troops out of Iraq on the deadline negotiated by Bush the Younger against Obama’s wishes.
The AP story explains Obama has to lie because Americans don’t want this war. “Mindful of the public's aversion to another lengthy war, Obama acknowledged that the prospect of a new round of U.S. military action would be a cause for concern among many Americans,” it continued.
Obama’s lies about his aspirations for extending the war in Iraq don’t stop there. In January, The The Chicago Tribune reported, “Pointedly, Secretary of State John Kerry, currently occupied in the Middle East fanning the embers of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, says there will be no American ‘boots on the ground’ in Iraq. ‘This is a fight that belongs to the Iraqis,’ he said Sunday. ‘We are not contemplating returning. We will help them in the fight, but this fight, in the end, they will have to win, and I am confident they can.’” The help Kerry alluded to was weapons and equipment including drones, but not fighter jets.
But now Obama has sent both fighter jets and boots on the ground. Besides the well publicized air strikes, Antiwar.com documented, “It hasn’t been so long since President Obama announced his intention to send ‘up to 300’ US troops to Iraq as ‘advisers,’ and the Pentagon now says there are 500 on the ground, with more coming. Only about 180 of the 500 are actually the ‘advisers,’ with other troops part of anti-terrorism security team, and still others manning the new Joint Operations Center in Baghdad.” As we learned in Vietnam, ‘advisers’ is code for combat troops. Obama is marching the US back into war in Iraq one step at a time.
And what goes unmentioned in every mainstream media story is the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants ravaging Iraq were funded, equipped and armed by the US when they were Syrian rebels. At first the CIA did this secretly, smuggling weapons from Libya through Turkey into Syria. That’s why the US ambassador was killed in Benghazi. Then Obama made arming them public. Now ISIS is using weapons given to them by the US in Syria to attack Iraqi and US forces in Iraq. Some say nothing is made in the USA any more, but this disastrous war was wholly made in Washington, D.C.
As bad as this sounds, it gets worse. The CIA and US special forces trained the Syrian rebels, some of whom joined ISIS in their invasion of Iraq. Last year The Daily Mail reported, “It is not known how many of the rebels have passed through the US base [in Jordan], but it is understood 20 to 45 at a time have been attending two-week courses since December – and are being trained with Russian-designed 14.5mm anti-tank rifles and 23mm anti-aircraft weapons.” Those are the weapons ISIS is now using against Americans.
Talk about blowback. Obama had US troops train and arm jihadists, and now he’s ordered US troops to fight them.
Worse yet, a leaked memo from private US intelligence company Stratfor claims that NATO special forces are secretly fighting alongside rebels in Syria. This creates the potential for US forces in Iraq to attack NATO forces fighting on the side of ISIS.
This insanity is a consequence of never-ending US wars. It’s a war profiteer’s dream. The US is arming and training both sides, so the war profiteers enjoy double the profit. It’s a formula for perpetual war and war profiteering. As with every government aggression, our rulers win and everybody else loses.
